Policy Changes.
Seatasker.com can make any update to this Policy from time to time. Any changes to this Policy will be posted below for a period of thirty (30) days and will be effective when posted. The changes will also be immediately incorporated into this Policy.
Your continued use of the Site and/or Apps after any changes are made to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If any of the changes are unacceptable to you, you should cease using the Site and/or Apps.
If any changes to this Policy affect how Sea Tasker treats or handles personally identifiable information already provided to Seatasker by you, Seatasker will notify you by email a valid email address to use and give you thirty (30) days to opt out of the changes as they pertain to your information.

We may collect personal information about you directly from you, through your use of the Site or Services, or from third parties. In general, we collect the following types of information about you:
Account Information for Sea Tasker. If you would like to use the Services, you must first register for an account (“User Account”).You can register either through our mobile application or our website directly. If you sign up for a user account, we ask you for your first and last name, billing address, mailing address, gender, age, telephone number, email address, profile information, and credit card information.
Each user account is for a single user only. We also may collect optional information such as your contact information and your location (see below) and certain demographic information.
Information that We May Collect About You through All of Our Services:
Transaction Information. We may collect information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of Services that we offer.
Contact Information.
In the course of using the Site or Services, we may ask you to provide us with contact information that can be used to contact or identify you, including your home phone number, email address and mailing address.
Mobile App User Information.
When you launch our Sea Tasker Apps or services, we may collect your device type, the unique device ID issued by the smartphone provider and/or your mobile provider (“Device ID”), Operating System being used, browser version and IP address, if applicable. We use the Device ID to authenticate users, and to understand how users use our Service or third-party services that they access through our Services. In addition, we may use this information for advertising purposes. Our use of your Device ID enables us to identify you personally, and we store this information in connection with your Sea Tasker user account information in order to make your log-in faster.
Other Information.
We may also collect other information about your use your use of our Services and Applications, and may, from time-to-time, ask users to participate in surveys.
How We Use Your Personal Information In general.
We use the personal information we collect about users for the following reasons:
– To respond to request or inquiries from Users, and for other customer-service related purposes.
– To enforce this Policy and our Terms to process payments.
– To analyze how people use our Site, Services, and Apps.

To Protect Sea Tasker and Others.

Depending on the nature of the activity, such as when you upload/post content with personally identifiable information (“PII”)* to the Site and/or Apps, other users may be able to view your PII*.
Sea Tasker also reserves the right to modify or delete any content or PII* you upload/post to the Site and/or Apps. We generally retain your PII* indefinitely.
Sea Tasker may use your PII* to: respond to questions or comments you have about Sea Tasker and its services; set up and administer your Site/Apps account and related user profile; contact you about Sea Tasker services;
Verify your authority to enter or use the Site and/or Apps; improve the content and general administration of the Site and Apps.
Sea Tasker may collect additional PII* in connection with contests and promotions in which you participate. Any additional PII collected will be identified in the rules Applicable to the contest or promotion.
Sea Tasker will send emails containing newsletters, announcements relating to the Site and the Apps, as well as promotions in which you may participate. Sea Tasker may use your PII and you other information, including Geo-location information collected by the Apps based on the location of your smartphone, to help us display information and advertising which is relevant to you and your interests.

Standard data and other fees may be charged by your mobile phone carrier when using the Apps, so please be aware of them.
Review of Collected PII*
If you would like to review or edit any PII* Seatasker collected from you, or wish Seatasker to cease using your PII* in the manners specified in this Policy, please contact Sea Tasker at info@seatasker.com. Please be as specific as possible in your request. If the request relates to information that Seatasker needs to make the Site and/or Apps function properly for you, you may not be able to use the Site and/or Apps properly moving forward. You may also uninstall the Apps if you want the Apps to cease collecting information from you.
Please note that Sea Tasker reserves the right to maintain proper business and transactional records required by law, even if such records contain your PII.
Response to “Do Not Track” Requests
Sea Tasker does not act on or respond to “Do Not Track” requests.
Cookies and Log Data.
When you interact with our Site, we strive to make your experience easy and meaningful. We or our third-party service providers may use cookies, web beacons (clear GIFs, web bugs) and other technologies to track user activity and collect Site data.
Cookies.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that websites transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser for record-keeping purposes. Web Beacons (Clear Gifs/Web Bugs).

While Seatasker takes the issue of protecting your PII seriously, you should exercise discretion in what information you disclose and/or transmit to the Site and/or through the Apps. Sea Tasker cannot guarantee that information sent over the Internet or through a mobile application is fully secure, and therefore the transmitted information may be intercepted by others before it reaches Sea Tasker. If you are concerned about sending information to Sea Tasker over the Internet or through a mobile application, please send the information by mail or call us to make other arrangements.
Sea Tasker is not responsible for the security of information sent over the Internet or through a mobile application.
Non-U.S. Concerns.
The Site and Apps are meant for individuals within the United States. Seatasker only knowingly collects information from individuals within the United States. If you provide information to Sea Tasker from outside of the United States, you do so at your own risk. If you are outside of the United States, you are responsible for complying with any local laws regarding use of the Site and Apps, and related data collection. This Policy only addresses data collection from individuals within the United States. You also agree and acknowledge that by providing any information, including PII, through the Site and/or Apps, that such information will be transmitted to, and stored in the United States.
External Links and Interaction with Other Sites.
The Site and/or Apps may contain links to external websites or other mobile applications not controlled by Sea Tasker. Sea Tasker is not responsible for the privacy practices and data collection policies for such third party sites and mobile applications. You should consult the privacy policies of those sites and mobile applications for details. For example, you may be required to review and agree to the Boatyard Terms of Use or other terms and conditions of the vendors who offer rewards through the Site or Apps. Also, since some your PII will be shared these vendors, links to the vendor’s privacy policies will be made available to you for review. You should review any vendor privacy policy so you understand how the vendor may treat your personal information.
Sea Tasker may also allow interaction between the Site and/or Apps with other sites or mobile applications such Facebook or other social media providers. This may include the “Like” button or other plugins available through the Site or Apps that allow you to share information with persons outside of the Site or Apps. Please consult the privacy policies of those third party providers before using them to make sure you are comfortable with the level of sharing.
Children.
Our Services are not designed for children under thirteen (13) years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such information from our systems.
